This Sunset

The shimmering globe descends to kiss the horizon,
this sunset calls your soul’s essence.
Vibrant hues airbrushed by the Master Creator
blanket the sky with ethereal vapor.
Spent souls fall into the soft, beckoning peace hidden within.
This sunset refreshes with His majestic strength...for the speeding rollercoaster that is life.
Taste, hear, smell, touch, and see – His perfect rest rests on you.
He envelops you in His peace.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest." (Mt. 11:28)
